My Fave Romantic Comedies

Kelly Clarkson did a list of her fave "rom coms" on her talk show recently. Her list is definitely different than mine, but it did inspire me to do my own (you can check out her list at the bottom of this post)

Happy Valentine's/Galentine's/Palentine's Day! It is also Singles Awareness Day, but enough about that. Here is a list of my fave "rom coms" in no particular order:

The Proposal

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds? Sign me up! Hands down one of the best rom coms in quite awhile, and that iconic scene in the woods will always be remembered for years to come. (This movie was also on KC's movie list)

Hitch

I will always love Will Smith, and this movie is a nice reminder as to why.

Just Like Heaven

Mark Ruffalo's first appearance on this list, but more surprisingly it's Reese Witherspoon's one and only. (I wouldn't even really consider this movie a "rom com", but the internet does so here it is). I used to borrow this movie from my friend all the time, and I finally bought it for myself.

The Wedding Singer

This movie was another one that was on KC's list, but that just proves how great it is. I love 90s Adam Sandler, and I love their chemistry. I am glad they went on to do a few other movies

While You Were Sleeping

Sandra Bullock is on here again. I've loved this movie since I first saw it years ago, and it's still one of my favorites today.

Date Night

Steve Carrell and Tina Fey are a great comedic duo, and they should've done more movies together.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

Jennifer Garner's first appearance, but not her last. Emma Stone's part in this movie was my favorite part. Fun fact: young Jennifer Garner from that other movie on this list comes back for this one

Blast From The Past

I think this movie is extremely underrated

What Happens In Vegas

I actually first saw this movie because of a friend, and then I bought it because of an ex. Turns out it was all worth it and it was actually good. I've never been a fan of Ashton Kutcher (sorry), but I did like him in this movie. I never really appreciated Cameron Diaz the way she deserved either

She's The Man

Probably the most unexpected movie on this list, but definitely one of my all time favorites. This movie was Amanda Bynes at her best, and I think it was the first movie I ever saw Channing Tatum in too.

Can't Hardly Wait

Still my fave movie ever, and it just happens to fit onto this list. Their story is relatable. I took had a crush on an "Amanda Beckett" in high school (I think we all did....even if yours was the guy version)

13 Going On 30

Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner are on the list again. Seriously though, this movie is one of the best romantic comedies ever.

10 Things I Hate About You

This movie not only has a great cast, and a great soundtrack, but is also just an amazing movie overall. It also inspired me to go visit the Fremont Troll in Seattle. I still to this day want to go see the rest of those places in real life.

Never Been Kissed

There isn't a better romantic comedy that exists. Sorry not sorry. I can't say enough great things.
